HarVest Bank of Maryland Teams Up With iStream Imaging to Reinvent Business Banking

HarVest Bank of Maryland, a rapidly growing and locally owned full service commercial bank, today announced the formal rollout of new technology to enable remote processing of deposits from a customer’s office. During the recently concluded trial period, HarVest successfully reduced customer reliance on access to its branches through the new capabilities.

The HarVest iStream Imaging® Solution allows a customer to gather and scan all of its checks for deposit together and submit them via a secure, encrypted internet connection. Once proofed, the deposit is processed for payment and valid deposits are posted within hours to the customer account. The depositor can review deposits, account activity and online reporting without leaving his/her desk. Merchant customers for example, will no longer need to worry about deposit deadlines, employee security or courier costs.
