I wanted to take a moment to let you know what a pleasure it is working with the new Remote Deposit Capture system you provided my company. I would highly recommend this system for anyone that has to deal with a large number of paper check payments each month.
Our accounting department has reduced deposit preparation time since switching to the new system. Also, instead of waiting for the bank to mail NSF or returned checks, we now have online access to the checks within two to three days of deposit. This allows us to efficiently re-present those items for payment right online, greatly reducing the turnaround and recovery time.
But the most beneficial feature for our daily back office operations is the digital archive and online check lookup function. When we need to confirm a posting or reconcile a short pay situation, we are now looking at the check image in just seconds instead of having to search through the file of check copies we used to maintain. Since this situation can happen several times each day, the time savings and ease of use are a huge plus for our department.
