I am writing you today to express my thanks for introducing iStream Deposit to our company. Going with iStream has literally been one of our best business decisions.
Prior to the introduction of iStream, we were processing about 500 checks the old fashioned way: stamp-endorsing each check, manually filling out deposit slips and physically driving to four different banks twice per week to make deposits. We never gave that process a second thought because we were not aware of any other way to accomplish these tasks. That is until you introduced us to iStream Deposit and the benefits of Remote Deposit Capture.
Now, instead of having our client representatives stamp-endorse each check, photocopy each check, run tape totals and manually fill out deposit slips, they take five minutes to scan the checks and make their deposits right from their computer. Since all check images are stored electronically, they no longer have to photocopy each check. You can even program iStream to print copies of the checks for you if needed! And with iStream’s reporting and exporting capabilities, our client reps no longer have to process separate reports for our clients. Bottom line, what used to take our reps over an hour to accomplish, now takes less than ten minutes. That’s real, tangible results and allows them more time to work on other aspects of our client accounts.
As a bonus, my Operations Manager no longer has to take an hour to drive to four banks twice per week. Just saving those two hours a week pays over half of iStream’s monthly bill!! The other back-office savings are above expectations, as my staff is spending less time on depositing money and more time on making it. iStream has certainly paid for itself, and then some. I don’t know how we got along without it.
